Waste Audit

The Waste Management Working Group from the Ecological Justice Committee is helping us as we conduct our first-ever Waste Audit during November.
Day 1 on November 6 from 5 – 9:00 pm and Day 2 on November 13 from 5 – 9:00 pm; both in Steacy Hall.
We’ll be sorting and weighing the church’s garbage and recycling to uncover how we can reduce waster and improve our green practices. Pizza dinner will be served.
To volunteer please contact the office at 613-725-9487 at least 2 days prior to the dates you’ll be attending. We’re looking for: volunteers to help with sorting and weighing; materials such as aprons, bathroom scales (both will be returned to owners after the audit), rubber gloves, unused masks, paper towels, clipboards and pens.
