Socializing at All Saint's Westboro

Seniors' Luncheon

All seniors are welcome to attend our yearly Seniors' Luncheon, normally held in May. A Eucharist is held at 11:00 am followed by lunch at 12:00 noon.

New members at All Saints' Westboro

Newcomer's Lunch

Each September, we host all the folks who have joined us during the past 18 months or so to a Newcomer’s Lunch immediately after the 9:30 am service. We gather in our beautiful chapel for a light lunch and a chance to get to know one another. We post a sign-up sheet at the back of the church mid-way through August.

Annual Potlucks at All Saints' Westboro

All Saints’ Day Potluck Lunch

On or around November 1, we hold a special parish potluck celebration lunch. A slide show is presented featuring parish life over the past year.

All Saints' Westboro Village Fair

Village Fair

The annual All Saints' Village Fall Fair (Bazaar) is held each November. It is an occasion to shop for crafts, knitting, jewellery, baking, pickles and preserves, linens, silver, used books and much more. The Snowflake Café serves a delicious lunch. Recipes: Harvest Vegetable Soup, Autumn Vegetable Soup, Apple and Winter Squash Soup and Apple Crisp.

Advent at All Saints' Westboro

Advent Family Day

On the first Sunday of Advent, we invite children and their families to the chapel directly after the 9:30 am service to an Advent Family Day event. We have a seasonal snack and then work together on a project related to our preparation for Christmas. Such activities as cookie decorating, making of the family Advent Wreath, and creating a mural about Isaiah’s dream of peace have been done by us in the past. Each year - something different!
