Blue Christmas Service

First United Church, along with All Saints’, is offering a service, also known as a “Longest Night” service, during the Advent season, designed for those who find the holidays difficult due to grief, loss, loneliness, or other struggles. This service provides a contemplative space for honest reflection on pain, grief, and sadness, in contrast to the often celebratory public tone of the season.

Soup for the Soul will meet for soup and conversations, 5:30-6:30 pm. The group plans to attend the Blue Christmas service together after the meal. We wish to offer support for all who have experiencing grief and loss to join us for community and support. If you want to attend, please RSVP with Parish Office or Rev Chung Yan.
