Plants can be left at the west side of the church the week before the plant sale (Monday May 11-Friday May 15). Please ensure that all plants are IN POTS AND LABELLED. \nOn the day of the sale\, volunteers are most welcome. If you would like to come and help us set up\, we will begin at around 8 am. Selling plants and chatting with fellow gardeners is great fun\, and of course it’s an excellent opportunity to shop for a few plants to add to your own garden. DESCRIPTION:Join our friends from the Westboro Legion as they lead us in the commemoration of the Battle of the Atlantic on Sunday\, May 3rd at 11:00 am in Steacy Hall. \nWe hold a 18 special partnership with the Legion as Rev Chung Yan serves as the community chaplain for the Legion. The friends from the Legion also support many efforts of our Food Bank as well as the other projects and campaigns. We continue to remember all who have sacrificed in order for us to live with liberties\, remembering to be peacemakers and peace builders in a time where war and conflict is prominent throughout the world.

SUMMARY:Soup for the Soul
DESCRIPTION:In 2026\, we continue to gather for soup and conversations\, a gentle way to provide community for all who are grieving. \nOur time together is intentional in creating a safer space for open conversations about grief. We welcome tears\, anniversaries\, and discussing strategies for living with loss. There are times when we no longer feel welcomed to speak of our loved ones who have died. This circle honours that grief is sometimes as fresh as the day it happened\, and we hold space together as a community so none of us need to go through the process alone. \nWe gather monthly on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in Room 5/6\, and a chair is always reserved for you. Contact Rev Chung Yan Lam for more information.
