DESCRIPTION:The Meditation Group (Centering Prayer) has remained a quiet and meaningful part of our church’s spiritual life this year. The group meets every Thursday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Holy Spirit Chapel\, providing participants with dedicated time for stillness\, prayerful awareness\, and reflection in the presence of God. Guidance is given as needed for newcomers on methods of silent prayer. \nThe welcoming and nonjudgmental atmosphere created a safe space for spiritual growth and rest\, especially for those seeking balance in busy or stressful lives. \nSessions typically included a brief introduction or scripture reading\, two periods of guided or silent meditation and one walking meditation\, and time for closing prayer. Participants expressed appreciation for the consistency of the meetings and the opportunity to deepen their faith through contemplative practice. \nJoin the group for contemplative prayers. Doors open by 4:20 pm. Contact the Parish Office for more information.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Jazz Vespers\, a monthly gathering of uplifting music and prayers in our Chapel. Experience the magic of community and joy! \nEarly Christians continued the Jewish custom of prayer at the time when the daylight faded and lamps were lit. Originally called Lucernarium (lamp-lighting time)\, this service is now called Vespers (evening prayer). \nAt All Saints’\, we adapted the old tradition by featuring jazz music during our vespers service. Our February service will consist of the Holden Evening Prayer.

DESCRIPTION:The Shop is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. \n\n\n\nAn outreach ministry of All Saints’ Westboro since just after World War II\, the New-to-You Shop has a threefold ministry: serving the community; serving the environment\, and; serving the church. \n\n\n\nIn fact\, the shop started practising the five Rs of recycling – Refuse\, Reduce\, Reuse\, Repurpose\, Recycle – long before the concept caught on with the rest of the world. You can reduce the effects of climate change by donating good-quality used clothing and household goods to the Shop. So why not drop by or offer to lend a hand? We’ll be glad to see you\, and we even give free\, unbiased fashion advice!

SUMMARY:Centering Prayer
DESCRIPTION:The Meditation Group (Centering Prayer) has remained a quiet and meaningful part of our church’s spiritual life this year. The group meets every Thursday from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Holy Spirit Chapel\, providing participants with dedicated time for stillness\, prayerful awareness\, and reflection in the presence of God. Guidance is given as needed for newcomers on methods of silent prayer. \nThe welcoming and nonjudgmental atmosphere created a safe space for spiritual growth and rest\, especially for those seeking balance in busy or stressful lives. \nSessions typically included a brief introduction or scripture reading\, two periods of guided or silent meditation and one walking meditation\, and time for closing prayer. Participants expressed appreciation for the consistency of the meetings and the opportunity to deepen their faith through contemplative practice. \nJoin the group for contemplative prayers. DESCRIPTION:We are a circle of support for all who are experiencing grief and loss\, recent or less so. it is a community to hold our stories of heartbreak and experiences. You do not have to share. This is not a therapy. It is a practice of grace when we know pain could isolate us and we are choosing to create community to process it together. \nWe meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 7 pm in Rm 5/6.
