SUMMARY:Spring Fair
DESCRIPTION:Spring Fair: The GranAid Perennial Plant Sale and other activities will be held on Saturday\, May 16th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the courtyard in front of the church. \nIf you can\, please donate perennial plants that are healthy and well acclimatized (dug up this Spring from your garden). Plants can be left at the west side of the church the week before the plant sale (Monday May 11-Friday May 15). Please ensure that all plants are IN POTS AND LABELLED. \nOn the day of the sale\, volunteers are most welcome. If you would like to come and help us set up\, we will begin at around 8 am. Selling plants and chatting with fellow gardeners is great fun\, and of course it’s an excellent opportunity to shop for a few plants to add to your own garden. If you are interested in helping out with this event\, and for further information please contact Sally Baycroft. \nAll money raised from the plant sale will go to Fikelela\, the HIV/AIDS outreach and education program of the Anglican Diocese of Cape Town\, South Africa.

DESCRIPTION:The Shop is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. \n\n\n\nAn outreach ministry of All Saints’ Westboro since just after World War II\, the New-to-You Shop has a threefold ministry: serving the community; serving the environment\, and; serving the church. \n\n\n\nIn fact\, the shop started practising the five Rs of recycling – Refuse\, Reduce\, Reuse\, Repurpose\, Recycle – long before the concept caught on with the rest of the world. You can reduce the effects of climate change by donating good-quality used clothing and household goods to the Shop. So why not drop by or offer to lend a hand? We’ll be glad to see you\, and we even give free\, unbiased fashion advice!
