Special Movie Night—Truth and Reconciliation
September 30, 2022 @ 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Friday, September 30th, 6:00 pm (dinner) 7:00 pm (movie)
Steacy Hall and the Chapel
September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, colloquially known as Orange Shirt Day. On this day, we recognize the legacy of the Canadian Indian residential school system, as well as consider the present and look forward to ways of engaging in reconciliation efforts. On this day the Truth and Reconciliation Team will facilitate an evening with a simple supper of soup and bannock/bread, followed by a movie in the Chapel.
An optional sharing circle will follow the film. Free-will offering and donations to cover our costs will be greatly appreciated. All are welcome at this event. For more information about the movie that will be shown, and to register for the dinner, please contact Helen in the office (office@allsaintswestboro.com).
Note: So that we can plan for dinner, please register for the dinner no later than Monday, September 26th, at 12:00 noon. Registration for the movie only is not necessary.
