Episcopal Election
March 14, 2020 All day
On Saturday, March 14th, an Electoral Synod will select a new Bishop for our Diocese. The selection will reflect the true will of God only if it is accompanied by prayer at all stages of the process and by all involved. The following is prayer for the week of Sunday, March 8th—for those who will vote in the Electoral Synod
Ever-present God, source of all wisdom and understanding, be present with those who will take counsel in the Synod of this Diocese to elect a new Bishop on March 14th. Teach us in all things to seek first your honour and glory. Guide us to perceive what is right and grant us both the courage to pursue it and the grace to accomplish it; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
