The annual All Saint’s Village Fall Fair (Bazaar) is usually the second Saturday in November from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It features All Saints’ Originals crafts; knitted goods for all ages; accessories and jewellery; jams, pickles and preserves; vintage linens, silver, china and collectibles; used books; the ever popular bake table; a Silent Auction; a children’s store and Christmas Treasures. The Snowflake Café serves coffee and muffins and a delicious lunch. The New-to-You Shop is open.
The All Saints’ Spring Fair is jointly sponsored by GranAid and the Bazaar Committee in May. This is a great opportunity to find new treasures, new authors, delicious baking and acclimatized perennials for the garden.
Westfest is a community street festival held in Westboro every year. All Saints’ and First United join in the fun by having two days of music, food, art and community information. We invite you to stop by our church to check out our events, rest on our shaded courtyard or tour our building. Hope to see you there!
The annual Seniors’ Luncheon
The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper is a long standing tradition at All Saints’ and First United. Pancakes, bacon and sausages are served, with continuous sittings from 5:00pm - 7:00 pm. It is a real Parish and community event.
On the first Sunday of Advent each year, we invite children and their families to the chapel directly after the 9:30 service to the Advent Family Day event. We have a seasonal snack and then work together on a project related to our preparation for Christmas. Such activities as cookie decorating, making of the family Advent Wreath, and creating a mural about Isaiah’s dream of peace have been done by us in the past. Each year - something different!
All Saints’ Day Potluck Lunch
Each year on a Sunday in September, we host all the folks who have joined us during the past 18 months or so to a Newcomer’s Lunch immediately after the 9:30 service. We gather in our beautiful chapel for a light lunch and a chance to get to know one another. We post a sign-up sheet at the back of the church mid-way through August. We also invite you to call the church office for more information.
