WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

Friday, March 5 at 2:00 pm
The annual World Day of Prayer service for Westboro and area will be hosted by All Saints' Anglican and First United Churches on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.

The Chapel of the Holy Spirit is the site for this special time of worship, inspired by the women of Cameroon. Reflectionist Dorothy Naylor, Diaconal Minister with First United, will give a reflection on the theme, "Let everything that has breath praise God."

All are welcome to attend both the service and the following reception in Steacy Hall.

LENTEN SERIES: Growing in Faith: Journeys for Lent

Continues March 9th
On each Tuesday during Lent, there will be a series of study groups to chose from. More information is in the lilac brochure at the back of the Church. For those signed up for the Enneagram program, there is a book available for $15. This is not essential, but if you want one, this is a good one.

CONVERSATION WITH THE PARISH ON WORSHIP SPACE

Sunday March 7 following the 9:30 am service
The conversation with Parishioners on Worship Space will continue on today following the 9:30 service. We will explore possible alterations in the interior of the Main Church. A major focus of this meeting is to solicit the views of Parishioners on the development of an action plan aimed at making this Worship Space more reflective of contemporary liturgical expression and more conducive to inter-generational and inter-denominational worship. The latter consideration has implications for our partnership with First United Church. Child Care is available for those who require it.

ORDINATION:
