In the true spirit of building community, All Saints' Anglican Church, Westboro and First United Church have put together a great program of food, exhibits and entertainment to help celebrate Westfest 2008.
Westfest is a free event that takes place annually in Ottawa's Westboro Village, showcasing the visual and performing arts in various forms. Now in its fifth year, Westfest has become the city's premiere outdoor summer festival, expected to attract as many as 50,000 visitors between June 11 and June 15.
All Saints' has been a participant since the second edition of Westfest and this year is joined by First United Church, which became its partner at 347 Richmond Road in April of 2007. Together, volunteers from both congregations have organized activities beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, June 13 and concluding Sunday evening, June 15. Enjoy a wide variety of entertainment along with fund raising for worthy social causes, both locally and overseas. Come join us!
