On Saturday, February 27, 2010 a powerful 8.8 magnitude earthquake shook Chile. The devastation is worse than originally thought.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Chile. We also remember the aid workers, medical personnel, engineers, and all those working for the relief of suffering and pain.
Closer to home, we hold in our hearts members of our diocesan family who are anxiously waiting news of family, friends, and loved ones or those who are suffering from loss at this time.
The Primate's World Relief and Development Fund is monitoring the relief needs in Chile and is accepting donations. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
